Paul J. Masterson, A.B., J.D., has been involved with professional liability claims in several states for over 25 years, with primary experience in Ohio, California, and Florida. He manages claims, and claims programs, pertaining to hospitals, health systems, outpatient facilities, and physicians. He is dedicated to providing unparalleled customer service in an extraordinarily cost-effective manner. “We have a very straightforward business plan. Integrity is the foundation upon which all else is built.” Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he is a graduate of Notre Dame (Magna cum Laude) and the law school at Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Ohio Bar and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.  He is a Licensed Claims Adjuster in Florida and Louisiana.

Shannon M. Bailey, R.N., M.S.

Shannon M. Bailey, R.N., M.S., has been involved with professional liability claims for 20 years and has provided consultative services in risk and claims management to various health care facilities and physician groups. She is an advanced practice nurse with 35 years of nursing experience and is a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager. “Through incisive claims analysis, we strive to identify clinical issues that will mitigate and prevent financial loss to the program.” Shannon has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and is a published author.

Judith A. Friend, R.N., B.S.N.

Judith A. Friend has been involved with professional liability claims for 15 years providing consultative services in risk and claims management to various health care facilities and physician groups. Judi received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with high honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas. She has 25 years of health care experience including utilization management, quality improvement, and critical care.
